I promised you some cards made using the new Christmas Single Stamps
I have fallen for the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack.  For £6.25 you get 48 sheets of 2 double sided designs. These are the perfect size for card fronts, and the bits left over cut be cut into strips or squares. How fantastic is that!
This stamp is called Magical Season, and it is £4.95. It will need a block (sizeD), as it is a single stamp that comes in a  cello bag.

Change of colour and using Season of Style Washi Tape £4.50 for 3 rolls, Be Merry Christmas single stamp £7.95(block E)

Thats  not all I have to show you today.
I love these colours so much, I was on a roll. The small stamp sets we have in the Autumn/Winter catalogue are just perfect for those of you who just want to stamp off a lot of Christmas cards in one go.

This set actually combines in a bundle with the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card kit - more of that later! I have combined it with the Festive Flurry and the Festive Flurry Framelits.

I love this set Wishing You £12.95 (wood) or £9.95 (clear), add some DSP and a bit of ribbon or a bit of bling.

Last night I attended a Creative Tour event in Wokingham. How inspiring was that! It was full of wonderful inspiration and productivity. One of the great things about getting together with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators is swapping. This is my swap, made using the World Map stamp,Thats the Ticket and Really Good Greetings.

Here are some of the swaps I was given in return. I love the variety of images used and the different textures and colours that stampers come up with.

The new Christmas Single Star can not only be used as a stamped image on a card. Here it is cut out, scored and shaped then put in a frame with other elements.  Also used is the Expressions Thinlets Dies, a pennant from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit and the chevron punch all available in the new Autumn Winter Catalogue.

For the second project the star has been embossed with Gold Embossing Powder, onto parchment paper and then ironed onto the Mini Muslin Bag.  What a fantastic idea! It has been paired with a small card and note card envelope in Crumb Cake. The star has been stamped in Sahara Sand and the sentiment is embossed in gold from the set Joy To The World.  These have been finished off with a bit of linen thread.
Images are Stampin' Up! Concept artist is Melody H from Stampin' Up! USA

My dear friend Janine recently was awarded her residency in the UK, so I had to make her a card for the occasion.

I had a play around with the new Circles Collection of framelits from Stampin' Up! using them to make the globe.  The base of the globe was the large oval punch and 3/4"circle punch cut in half.
I actually made the card on the right first, then had to make another as I thought, the world is on a 23 degree tilt so I need to get the globe right!
I love the World Map from Stampin' Up! I have used it here for the globe. It is a very large stamp so I was able to use a couple of sections from it. The globe on the right has been uplifted by Dimensionals, to give it a 3D effect, maybe next time I'll try to put a spin on it!

The inside of the card, using the world map stamped off to give a light background, and matching envelopes.

I am so glad the kids have gone back to school. Don't get me wrong, it is wonderful to have them around and spend time with them, but I breathe a sigh of relief when the holidays are over. I think this year, the holidays just seemed to drag, perhaps because we didn't really go away. Yes, we had days away from home but not Away!

A couple of exciting new things from Stampin' Up! well new for the UK.
